Hi folks -
I know 'bout the Savor One (and, for whatever reason, CO hates me, so ... no).
That aside, is there a preferred card for taking one's SO out to the movies that will get more than 2%?
Thanks.

The only other option I can think of would be the Marvel MC. It gives 3% on entertainment. Someone who has the card here can verify if that includes movies but it should. Otherwise, your best bet is a 2% card.
Keep in mind - how much are you spending on movies each month? If it's trivial, an extra 1% may not be worth another account.
Marvel credit card if you don't mind Synchrony. 3% for movie theater purchases.

Also Citi Premier gives you 2 Thankyou points, which is worth about 2.5 cents.
Movies is a 5% category on the Nusenda FCU cash rewards card for Q2.

I was looking at that card but it seems like they have the same categories every year.
As for the topic, another vote for the BBVA ClearPoints.

I would view that as a feature as compared to the "random" categories of Freedom. At least with this you can determine if those categories are useful and plan ahead. Freedom (unlike Discover) doesn't tell you what is coming for more than the next quarter (and that only within two weeks or so)
