can't add Chase Freedom Flex to digital wallet

Greetings.  

I've added a handful of cards to my Google digital wallet (the android Wallet app) without issue, including the Chase CFU & CSP,  Amex, Discover and other issuer MC cards.  The process:

• specify the card particulars in the wallet
• the wallet pings the issuer
• the issuer sends an IM with a validation code to my phone
• you enter the validation code
• good to go

However, after entering the Flex specifics and submitting, I never receive a validation message.  Nuthin'.

The bank reps I've spoken have no answers.

Thoughts?  Suggestions?

Initiate from Chase's interface to add GP, don't start in GP

Curiouser & curiouser ... the Flex is not listed in the Chase interface as a card that can be added to a digital wallet (the CFU & CSP are listed).

Time for another call to Chase.

I have vague memories that CFF couldn't be added to wallets in the first few months after it came out, but that was fixed.   So maybe the Chase page hasn't been updated?   I have CFF in both Google and Samsung wallets.

@Anonymous just mentioned above you that they have CFF on Google Pay and Samsung Pay.

Yes .."G-Pay" ...been there for a little while. Had no problems when I added it directly to G-Pay.

The usual contacting bank and text verification.

Closing the loop -- Chase corrected whatever was wrong at its end -- I was able to add the Flex to my digital wallet.

Would've been nice if they had actually notified me that the fix had been made.
