capital one cli request

Has capital one always allowed you to enter the amount that you wanted? Or is it new? I requested a cli on mar 10 and don't remember seeing this. Any luck with getting the exact amount that you requested? It said it will give you a counter offer if you aren't approved for the amount you requested.

It is new. Playing with it I went ahead and dared 3x but I still have high utilization reporting on the SP they have. Maybe in a month or so I’ll get it.

I just tried it and got the they will send a letter message. Probably another monthly payment too low message. I'm going to try again after I use the card and make multiple payments.

I went for 3X CLI on 6300, but they gave me 500 only. I accepted without knowing I could reject the offer to try again later.

I read that you can reject the offer and try again in 2 weeks or a month for a higher offer. Because Capital one only allows CLI every 6 months. I just tried mine a few days ago and it said "the limit just recently change" because I just combined my 2 capital one QS and PC to SAVOR, so it might be reset the clock after combined and then PC, I don't know. LOL
