sorry about that... like I was saying, I was approved for the Merril Lynch visa 2500.00 gemb/american eagle 2200.00 and also discover but I'm not sure of the limit yet!

Congratulations!  Just remember to chose your issuers and your cards wisely, review t&c's and know what cards you are applying for and how they fit into to your plan B4 apping.  Nice scores by the way!  You have your pick pretty much -so choose only cards that are worthy of your consideraton.  Hope i'll be joing you soon in the 700 club soon.  After the initial hit from the new accounts your scores will only continue to improve as you treat these new accounts right.  Merrill and Discover, eh?  we're talking prime as prime can be   Cheers to you!

Thanks you guys, I was very surprised.  I have been trying to rebuild my credit since my BK in 2001 and this was the first app spree I've been on in 2 years!!   If it wasn't for all the great info that I received from this forum then I probably wouldn't have tried.  You are all Great!!

You got Merrill with a BK from 2001 showing? Why did you have to go and mention that?

Oh no...my BK was chapter 13 and it has already fallen off of my reports, I am sorry if I have mislead anyone.  There are no negatives on my report at this time.  I should hope I have learned from my past mistakes.   I have kept my nose clean for the past 5 years; no late pays, no derogs and no collections. Sorry about the confusion!
