has chase statement closing date been a business day or two off for anyone ever? mine was 14th, today new business day no new cycle.. going thru statements i have a doc for the 14th of every single month, cant recall this happening before but ofcourse during periods of apps and debt consol do you get met with some hiccups :x
i gave DM okay to charge airlines as of today (15th) and logging in i was expecting new cycle + new statement balance but im still on last months.. its still pending but ive seen airlines post in a day, which is where id ask will pending charges from 15th today say post on 16th tomorrow show up on September 14th statement?
I know chase has mid cycle reporting but would still like to have this card as my AZEO as its on an intro, thanks.
That's not unheard of with Chase or anyone for that matter. It's not as often with Chase or Amex but it does happen.

ah, forgot i had changed my due date few weeks ago. i guess by law they cant make that closing and new due date under 21 days apart, so i got a longer statement instead
If you change your due date then it will take a full cycle to apply. Your statement date will still be the old one for now and then once it passes through once they will make a extra long statement for the change. While by law they need 21 days between statement and due date there is no lender in existence willing to cut it that close. All of them prefer to do 22-28 days with the majority at 23-25. Makes them look more reasonable to the government.

Chase always has the statement cut date 3 days after the previous statement's due date. So, for example, if your due date is the 17th, the statement will cut on the 20th at end of day. Thus, you'll always have between 25 and 28 days from statement cut to that statement's payment coming due, depending on the length of the month. By law the minimum is 21 days, so if you change your due date, they have to extend the statement period if moving the due date back would make that cycle under 21 days.
