Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and I had a small question about chase bank specifically. I have tried to go for their pre-qualified check, but for some reason I always get an error saying that I have turned away promotions and emails from chase regardless of my account that I have with them already. Is there any way for me to get back on their promotion/pre-qualified/etc list again? Please help!
Also, since I have gained an account standing with this forum, I would like to let everyone know that I've been very successful relatively with regards to my age group I would suppose. I am now entering the garden as I have 6 CC's with a total of 31K credit!! All no annual fee cards so time to let my age of accounts grow like no tomorrow!

Don't base your decision to apply for one of their cards on whether you show something on the prequalified page. If you have used your Freedom card and it's in good standing, along with your scores, you should be fine in applying for another one of their cards.
Congrats on your credit sucess to date
I don't really understand this fear of cold-apping.
Even a pre-approval is no guarantee. Your utilization could move by 1% and result in a denial on a "bonafide" pre-approval.
i didnt have a pre approvals from chase and i cold apped for the csp and the slate and was instantly approved so i wouldnt go just go by a prequalify...hope that helps.
yes. with your scores no way. should you worry about a pre approval. you will pretty much get what ever you want.

I cold app'd for the CSP with no preapprovals and I was approved for $18k. Preapprovals mean nothing to me after that lol.
Well, pre-approvals CAN mean something, and from certain issuers, such as Chase, having a preapproval means it is pretty likely you will get approved (if something bad has happened on your report recently, you might get declined, but usally pretty good.)
But NOT having a preapproval means nothing! Just that they don't havet a match from the recent CRB pul ("Give me all people with the following characteristics") l, perhaps because of area or demographic or whatever. Approvals work just one way, we don't have pre-denials!
Thanks guys, i'll stop worrying about the pre-approvals ^^
but what about let's say, pre-qualified offers for Soft Pull CLIS? Does Chase even do that?
Starky85, what was your inquiries looking before you got the CSP? May I ask Income/Scores? Just so I have a basis for myself haha
