Forgot how is the customer service also?
One random question - Does anyone know if the "Self-Loan" which is run by the government i believe is a HP or SP? My guess personally is a HP, but i was just wondering because thats the student loan i will be getting from since i cant get FAFSA
I am not much of a fan of the TYP, but if you have a student loan, you can "easily" get a 1c per point redemption, which might make the card worthwhile if you do a lot in the 2x category of "entertainment" which is pretty broad.
Customer service varies, I have had good and bad. More recently, they now have online CLI request, that tells you when a soft pull is available (which doesn't mean you will get it, but means it won't be hard!)

2. Is typ worth it? Freedom?
You need to tell us where you draw the line. Don't just assume that everyone has the same sense of worth as you. If that was the case you'd just need to look at our signatures and apply for the exact same cards (and we would all have the exact same cards). Give us a better understanding of what you're looking for and why you narrowed it down to these two.

"A little full" doesn't tell us anything. What's your reported utilization?
