No baddies.  I explained on another thread a while back that I have not had credit in nearly 9 or 10 yrs because I used to have baddies and needed to get on track, sooooo I closed out everything (bad move) paid stuff off, some stuff fell off, paid cash for every purchase those years and then ended up with years of no activity, no TL, nothing... so that is almost on par with having bad credit, none at all.

My WAMU CC is issued by WAMU. CRA reporting shows WAMU/PROV. WAMU acquired Providian in 2005, I believe.

WaMu visa issued by WaMU.  Citi may have issued it before becaue they are really just developing their portfolio wth the takeover of providian.

I believe they contribute a certain spending amount to a college fund. I don't know all of the details though.

Well I ain't Tus BUT.... the CitiUpromise card puts funds nto your Upromise account.  This is not a college savings account and you can withdraw funds on request.  It does not roll over to a 529 unless you open that separately.  I have both for my son though a kid is not necessary. Your earnigs are only tax free when you use them to pay for education even if thats just paying off student loans  You can use any credit or debit card with upromise and combine them with your shopping cards such as Publix, Winn dixie, Albertsons, etc., to have funds deposited into this account.

I have every card I own registered and if I do online shopping I start there because they actually occassionally have great deals.

Approved for 9k on CitiAA when denied for Delta - since this card doesn't report CL, want to ask to switch when activated - how easy is this and what should I say or switch to?  I want to do balance transfers, but looks like CitiAA offers no intro rate for this?
