closing FP

i plan on closing FP this week. i need to close it before state ment cuts because they charge $7 when it cuts

my utl will be hurt bit in short term.but will closing my oldest cc hurt

It'll stay on your reports for up to 10 years, so it won't hurt you at all in the short term. By the time it drops off your credit reports, you'll have 10+ years of history on your current cards anyway.


In other words, you're really not going to lose anything except an unnecessary monthly fee.
