comenity cards

I got a couple of cards over the weekend and would like to pay the balances which are very small. However, I dont have the card to register online. Would they take the payment over the phone? Or do I have to wait?

Thank you in advance

Re: comenity cards

Maybe you can them directly give em your social to confirm your account and pay. I would just wait to get the physical card. I know Comenity can be weird that alot times they dont report unless you have balance but ymmv. Smiley Happy. Ive used and paid off two cards so they stay at zero on report but on Equifax still has them from months ago with charges and all. Why oh why does EQ always report things so slowlySmiley Sad sorry thats another topic.

Re: comenity cards

You should be able to register your account online with the information from your temporary card, I did no problem at all. If you can't then just wait for the card to show up, no need to rush, it won't hurt to pay it a week or two from now.

Re: comenity cards

Comenity cards does not report unless there is a balance at your billing statement date.  I learned this quite some time ago.  I would just wait until the statement has cut and then pay the balance.

Thank you for the wealth of knowledge I have learned from these forums. I am logging off as of November 9, 2022. I wish everyone great success.

Re: comenity cards

Their cards usually come within a week of opening the account. They usually give you about a month after opening before they report to the bureaus. You should be fine to pay before the statement cuts.

Re: comenity cards

My Express card reported 3 days after I opened it....Maybe it had to do with the billing cycle, but I definetly wasnt given 30 days to pay the balance before they reported it.
