I never wanted more than 2-3 credit cards, but now that my dream card is now available I am considering on applying.
So I was thinking, should I close my Cap1 QS card, which I only opened for the no FTF, and replace it with the Diners club card premier. Honestly, speaking to date I have not had any problems with Cap 1. Positive feed back would be much appreciated!
I would simply add my "dreamcard" and keep Cap1 QS as it has no AF ....1 more card should not be too hard to handle ?

+1 No need to close the QS at all. You can just leave it in the SD and let it age to help your AAoAs.
I agree with both reponses, but if I was to so happen to receive the DCC, I would see no reason at all in using my Cap 1. And depending on credit issuer, if there is no activity on a card for 1-2 years they tend to close acct. On the flip side, I am thinking, what if after opening the DCC I hate the card, I could always fall back on Cap QS.

There are certain features of the QS i like. the one thing i like as soon as transaction posts you can transfer immediately you don't have to wait for statement to post or anything like that. The question i would have if you are going to cut one card it would be either QS or Citi DC i don't find it neccessary to have both cards.
