No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Your post is very subjective...please clarify.
1. What qualifies as "high CL" by your definition?
2. What is "good credit" for you?
3. What do you mean by "not perfect" (what derogs, how old and type).
Also, if you were to list:
1. AAoA
2. Highest current CL
3. Current Utilization
4. Income (has significant impact on what CL can be qualified)
with this info, you should get relevant and useful suggestions, specific to your circumstances.
1) High CL to me is anything over $10,000
2 and 3) Good credit is everything on time except 3 issues dating 5 years ago, each were 90 days - twice late on credit card, once on mortgage.Practically zero in CC debt now. Have mortgage, car is paid for.
4) not sure what AAoA is?
5) $11,000 on a discover. Several other cards ranging from $2500 to $8000
6) Util probably 3 to 5 %
7) Personal income $69,000. Wife makes about the same. She has a poor credit rating, though.
Thank you txjohn - thanks for helping me create a better question for some answers! I would also appreciate if anyone would comment if I am able to increase my credit availability more by securing more cards, or by asking for CLI from current cards? Thanks all!
What is your goal in obtaining more credit. For example are you trying to make a major purchase? Also it is quite possible to have a 750+ credit score even with a major derog so if you havent pulled your FICO scores, you might be pleasantly suprised at the results. Also with the threat of AA still around, you dont want to apply for too much credit too soon.
Also if your car is PIF and very old, you probably don't want to apply for any new credit if a new car loan is in your future.
AAOA = Average age of accounts
right now im only at 1.3 years i believe . I have no derogs though

Recommend a credit card for initial high CL for someone with good credit please. Thank you!
The goal of attaining more credit is to shore up some resources to get me through a 1-year sabbatical during which I will have little income.
Luckily my car, a 2003 Cavalier, does not even have 50,000 miles on it, so replacing it in the near future will not be necessary.
My AAoA then would be quite low.
Thanks!
