As I posted the other day I was just approved for the CSP. I just realized today they pulled both TU and EX. Now I used an old EX report number to pull a fresh report and I see theres a soft for Amex account review the very next day. Is that a coincidence or did I trigger an account review? Not that I really care but I find it interesting that I got a new SP when the last time I was SP was in Jan. Now I have a new one. I guess its a good thing because next time I apply for a revolver I shouldnt be denied because this SP looks way way better than the Jan one.
I believe Amex gets notified of new activity on EX and as a result will SP (account review) shortly after.
Amex softed (AR) me after every inquiry last month when I app'd for 3 cards (CSP, Chase Amazon, Citi TYP), and also softed once each account started reporting except the Amazon, which will report next month (fully expect another AR soft pull at that time from Amex). I didn't care either, but it does indicate that they like to be aware of every member's credit activites.
Very interesting. I didnt know they kept such close tabs. Its annoying that chase pulled both CRA's but oh well. I think my card apping is going to be done for a while anyway.

Chase has been routinely pulling two CRs recently for new apps.
The account review is triggered by a "consumer alert" system Ex provides to their clients, such as Amex. The moment you have an inquiry or new account will trigger an autmatic SP on your Ex.
I haven't checked EQ or TU, so not sure if they provide the service. On my softs, basically all of my creditors subscribe to this EX consumer alert service.
