debt resolution

I have close to 25K in unsecured debt and am considering debt resolution, but cannot find any information except that provided by the provider.  Can anyone out there give me pros and cons?

Be sure that you don't go with a company that tells you not to pay your creditors in hopes of forcing them to negotiate. These people will cheerfully destroy your credit.

Several of our members have successfully gone through DMP's (debt management programs.) I hope they'll be along shortly.
