My orchard bank card was only reporting to two of the credit bureau's transunion and experian. well today I got an alert from my credit monitoring service saying there was a change to my equifax so I logged in and there my orchard bank card was, it was finally being reported to equifax but the opening date is wrong. i mean its only a difference of 14 days. is this something I should ignore? I mean I doubt its that serious but I guess I just want everything to be perfect. I don't know. Should I dispute it so it could show the correct opening date or leave it alone because its no big deal?
LEAVE IT ALONE.
thank you.
Yeah - As long as it is reporting positive info leave it alone.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
+1
Remember, too, that different CRA's report opening dates differently. Some report the actual opening date and some report the month and year and default to the first day of the month. (i.e. March 11, 2010 would report as March 1, 2010 on some CRA's).
