freedom and CSP

These are really the only 2 cards I want. I have a chase checking so I want them for the combo. With only a year history and one 200.00 derogatory item left (falls off next year) do I stand a chance? They pull tu in my area and I haven't checked my score lately and I know the score provided here more than likely is irrelevant to what chase goes by. I'll only apply for the CSP if navy federal will bump one of my accounts to at least 5k and reports it.

Other then that 1 inquiry in the last 12 mos. 4 CC accounts. 3 are a year old one is 6 mos. Income is 50k.

Suggestions welcome

Re: freedom and CSP

Freedom maybe but not CSP right now. Your credit is still really new and it doesn't help that you have a DEQ item with only one year of history. Unless you have a really good explaination for it when you have to call to recon...I'd avoid applying for any Chase card until the DEQ falls off.

As of 2017, rebuilding...

Agreed, Chase doesn't like new account holders, I'm pretty sure I only got it with less than 1 year AAOA cause I have over 50k in my accounts, and was a authorized user on my dad's account and made all the payments =)

I agree that you might be able to get Freedom, but not CSP...   You should ask for a CLI on your navy fed account

Re: freedom and CSP

Garden a bit and then try for the Freedom and build a relationship with them for 6-12 months, then attempt for the SP, recon if necessary.
