So it is go time. I had my last normal appointment and I have a week to get my financing in order for my dental work. I have opted to go with springstone as they have better rates then care credit. My amount to finance is going to be between 21000 and 28000. The denstist said you can either ask for the max and then they will only pull the amount needed when the papers are signed or to go for a lesser amount and have it increased. I don't know which is the best way to go. Due to the amount I am going with the traditional finanacing as I cannot pay that amount off in 2 years its like buying a car. There is no penality for paying ahead or paying early.
the good thing is thanks to gardening and working on stuff my scores are at their highest right now then they have been in several years. I haven't bought my score in several months as no need to when my util wasn't at the best. my util is now approx 1%.
So has anyone else used springstone and if so which route did you take on the intial application. slightly above what you needed or slighly below? What scores do they seem to look for? I tried on whogavemecredit and there were none for springstone.

Just curious, what type of dental procedure cost 21K?
implants and all that goes along with it.
The site says to have the person in the household with the best credit to apply, leading me to believe you need a really good score to be approved.
Well I will know in the morning. 2 business hours. I didn't do it till just before 8. So it will be tomorrow.
I was approved, not the amount I wanted but 12000. This will be enough for me to add to it and get done what I need done. I did get my credit score of 683 so 2 less then myfico pulled on the same day. I am curious though I got a pull on 2 different cr's but their letter only talks about one. I may call to find out as the 2nd pull was from a different company name. So now since I already have a pull in the vein of a mini spree should I pull the plug on the pre approval i got for freedom and age the inquiries together?
The application for springstone already took me out of the garden? What do yall think?
So wanted to post what all is happening.
Springstone I got approved for 12000 for 4 years
I followed some advice and also applied for CareCredit (knowing I may not use all of it if approved)
CareCredit I got approved for 8000
While out of the garden i used my preappoval for Freedom
Chase Freedom 4000
So although I was firmly in the garden I flew out over the dental stuff. I don't have the surgery part till november and I think I will do a few charged and pay off on freedom to not scare them and then pay for it with the freedom since it is no interest till january 15. plent of time to pay it off interest free.
thanks for all the advice as had I not been rebuilding basedon the advice from the board I wouldn't have been approved for ANYTHING 1 year ago when i basically had zilch in credit and was caught up in the no credit is good mindset.
Now back to the garden I want my spade back and well i don't need anything new for a long time. And although springstone will show as a loan the 12000 in available credit between carecredit and freedom was nice for a venture out of the garden.
Looks like you did pretty good for yourself! Congratulations!
