Re: good low apr high limit card

what's your overall goal? why would a 0% offer not suffice? NFCU has the platinum which offers 8.24%

Although there have been some issues - not with me - you might look at the BBVA NBA AmEx card - they gave me $20k SL at 11.24 APR.

Re: good low apr high limit card

0% apr is great. But i do not wanna keep apping for cards whenever i need it. I just want like a 20k card with like 8-9% apr that i can dump like 3k of film purchases on and pay it off in a few month.

Work on the Discover and AMEX cards.

Use the Discover CLI SP feature to see about building up that limit. It may take a while, but with usage, it should see CLI regularly. Call to ask for an APR reduction, for purchase APR, and see what they say. The gave me a small reduction initially, then when I asked again in September 2015, they offered a 0% for a year on purchases. Also check Discover, see if you get any BT offers. Often they have two offers: one for 0% APR with a 3% fee, another for no fee, but a low APR. If you see any BT offers, use a small bit of that, just to keep them offering. If you don't see a BT offer on your account, call to ask whether they have a BT offer for you. Discover has moved away from sending paper mailers, it seems all their offers are on line on your account.

Use the AMEX CLI feature, to grow the ED limit. Call to see about reducing the purchase APR. The purchase APR may eventually get down to where you want it, but if the Discover CL increases, and you get the no-fee BT offers on Discover, you can charge the purchases on your AMEX or CSP, then no-fee-BT over to the Discover, and presto change-o, there's your low APR. And by low APR I mean 4.99%, beats 8% any day of the week.

Re: good low apr high limit card

totally understandable. do you qualify for NFCU? put it on another card and BT with no fee or interest. also, call your current creditors and see if you have any promotional periods of 0%.

or (please don't take this rude as there is no ill intent) but maybe get a 0% card for now and anticipate your next expensive purchase and save maybe
