i applied for a p/t time as a contractor that quals me for nfcu membership back in febuary. well got the call that the last of the paperwork was signed off on today.

so, i called an nfcu membership specialist and applied for membership.

once i received my access number i pulled the trigger on the flagship visa, instant 8k.

not bad for a 645 eq, wish i would have got the word a week ago when my eq was 674.

Why do you need so much credit? If I remember right all the approvals you got so far, your total credit lines should be close to or over $100k so far.

why? well, i was so ignorant about credit and planning that when about a year or so ago i had some life events go down and i was caught flat footed. fortunately, i found this site after trying to figure out if i got a target visa instead of a red card. this opened my eyes to what products i had and how i was using them.

once i educated myself i set a goal for myself, 500k. i figure that if it ever really hit the fan again (once i clean up this mess), that would be enough to handle most any oh crud moment.

and yes, this pushes me over the 100k mark just in my name.

My EQ is getting closer but not yet there to re-open my Navy Fed acount. I did call to see if I was in their system.

That's much better than I think I can shoot. But, I can hit the chest and head of the silohet in a 2 inch grouping from 21 feet, so I think I'm safe.

timothy, your eq and uti has to be better than me. i'm sure you'll be fine.

thanks, i'll try for a 300 next time. i shot in november and prior to that it was several years ago, so with a bit more practice i'll get there.
