I have a cap1 card and chase card that I have just paid off. I haven't used it for a purchase in months. I want to sock drawer these cards, but how often do I need to use them to keep them from closing them or CLD them?
I have gotten much better cards now like NFCU with a 10k limit and my miserable can't get approved credit days seem to be behind me. I don't want to have to keep up with all these cards and using them etc. I would really like to just close them to make the headaches go away, but these are cards I got almost two years ago when I first started rebuilding and they are helping my aaoa.
What you guys think I should do with them? I have already closed all the first premier, orchard, etc. junk cards a while ago.

You should use bank cards once per quarter (it doesn't matter what the amount is) to avoid closure for disuse. You can pay the balance off before the statement cuts. There is no need to report a balance. If the cards do not have AF's there is no reason to close them.
