perhaps they actually thought you sail on the good ship pa. either way i'm betting you comitted some sort of fraud by "certifying" that you met the eligability requirments. seriously don't mess with these guys. tell the you read what you were attesting to after the fact, but read it nonetheless and you don't qualify and don't want to be thrown in leviworth. i'm not joking!

Navy Federal's Field of Membership is determined by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). If you are in any of these categories, you are eligible to join.
Once your family members have joined, they can extend the membership opportunity to their family members, too.

@Anonymous wrote:You are wrong again Ash. I remember that post as well. The person's Grandfather passed away and he called and talked to the NFCU representative about it. He explained how their Grandfather was in the Navy but passed away and he wondered if it was ok to join NFCU.You see the difference here? He was up front with NFCU he told him his situation and he explained that his Grandfather passed. Of course NFCU would honor the memory of his Grandfather and allow his grandson to join NFCU. I hope that my time in the Marine Corps can benefit someone in my family the same way, even if i have passed on.You on the other hand lied about being a DON Civiliian and your USS PA remark.
