last half a year, Prime Ville has been kind to me. I haven't paid any interest for over 6 months. However, with 4 new accounts opened within last 6 months and my EQ fico is sitting at 700, mostly from decreased average age of accounts and amount of new credit.
Amex: Blue Cash preferred, Platinum Charge
Chase: Sapphire Preferred, Freedom, United MileagePlus Select Visa, Ink Bold
Discover: More
BoA: Platinum Visa (no Rewards, AF, oldest account though)
HSBC/Cap 1: Rewardzone Mastercard (no AF)
GEMB Amazon retail card
Where do I go next? I guess the noticeable lack is the lack of Hotel Cards and maybe credit union cards with a low APR. I just did a 90day trial thing with Hyatt via Visa Signature and hope to grab 2 suite confirmed upgrades through Chase Hyatt card.. but my average age of accounts is now sitting at 1.5 years and any more card might hurt me too much and potential FR with Amex. I have an income with mid 5 figures but since I am self-employed and filed my first tax income last year, so I dunno how I will be able to survive Amex FR if happened. I spend more than my income because I book for my parents and receive funds from them when they travel to US or to Europe. Should I garden for now since there's no amazing Sign up offer currently?
no backdating to help out? everything is 'new'?
I recently became AU on a Citi for work (but its their personal account) and it shows on my CR as 2010 (but I have Amex backdated personally to '91 so pffftt lol)
Otherwise I suppose garden time until a hot offer comes in. Like 35k miles on 750 spend for a Delta Gold Amex which I just did ![]()
Unless some killer sign-up bonus comes along, I don't see why you would want any more credit cards. Just wait it out.
There will probably be more signup bonuses coming before they start dropping their underwriting requirements.
That said, if I had even half those tradelines you have, I'd be done.

You are already paying hefty amounts in annual fees for the cards you have (450.00 for plat, 75.00 for BCP, 95.00 for CSP, 95.00 for MP Explorer, etc) so in order to really be getting any value out of your rewards cards it would be better to just pick one or two cards and use them for everything. Adding more cards just dilutes the value really.
My Amex does not show and missing about 10K in CLI that will not hit to next month.
No Chase or Citi product Smug?!? Your life is not complete! ![]()
