I regret having applied for PayPal credit when I was a credit card nub back in April. Why make a purchase with them when I can get up to 5% cash back on my other cards? And, if you want a credit limit increase on your PayPal credit, you have to purchase way beyond your current limit. Too bad I can't PC Paypal Credit to a VISA/Mastercard.

Hate to give you more bad news, but it's another HP for going over your credit limit.

LIke I said previously. There is no purpose in using Paypal credit when I can use my 5% double cash back credit card [Discover it]. Also, I've only received on HP from Paypal credit CCB/PPC [opening]; I've had numerous credit limit increases with PayPal credit, formerly known as Bill Me Later.

Trust me. I count my HP religiously.

Too bad for them. I know MY HP. And like I said, no reason to use PayPal credit. I prefer to use my 5% double cash back with Discover it. Heck, even my Quicksilver VISA 1.5% cash back trumps Paypal credit.

Re: paypal

I love my Paypal Credit. It's a hidden tradeline, plus every purchase I have made so far had been 6 months no payments and no interest; not to mention they gave me a 1k auto increase a few months ago. And for a data point, I have went over my limit several times already in order to get a CLI, and it has only been a soft pull each time (YMMV though). I guess it isn't for everyone, but the fact that it's a hidden tradeline makes it valuable to me.

Re: paypal

The deferred interest promotions are definitely nice, but I mostly end up using it when I want to get that $5-10 game on gog.com without having to get up to look for my wallet (wherever in the house it may be at that particular time) or when they're running some promo which gets dollars off, free shipping or whatever on something you'd be getting anyway.
