No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Credit Karma is not an official source to check such a thing. You may want to pull your credit report from one of the official agencies, such as Experian, directly.
Also, if the card is new, it may not show up on your credit report for a month or two.

Only the reports are free, scores are paid.

That is upto you. You can check one now and may be another 4 months later and the thrird one another 4 months later.
This is how a lot of people use these free reports.
But, I usually get all 3 at the same time
In your case CapOne should be reporting to all 3, so you should see it on all of your reports. In some cases some lenders do not report to certain bureau and in that case you need to pick your report accordingly.
