question about sears/MC

I had a Sears/mc back in 1994. I did not use the card for awhile and it was closed due to inactivity. The ccc closed the account in 2006. Do you think if i applied for another card from sears, they will back date the card (member since) 1994? thanks

i doubt it however i would try to call and see if you could reopen the account but usually 12 months is the limit but good luck

they will not back date the account the new card would say member since 2008, I am a phone rep for sears card. They will make you re apply for a new account.

question since u work for sears, do they ever approve anyone with a bk? probably not since it is citi backed i was just wondering.

I have a BK that discharged 10/2007, I was approved in 10/2008 for a Sears rewards mastercard.

I am hoping to get a Sears card in a few months. We are buying a house soon, and will need new appliances. We did file BK in 04, and it was released in 05.

Sure hope I can get it.

also stepane what ch bk did u file, if that makes a difference..but that's awesome to be able to get a citi backed card (if it is citi) with a bk, that's usually unheard of, but i guess there are always exceptions to the rule..congrats.
