Hi, goodcredit! Welcome aboard. The particular board is oriented toward comments and feedback on the forums, like topics to be added, how the various gadgets here function and so forth.

It sounds like you're asking about a credit card. If so, you should probably repost your question on the Credit Card forum. I would suggest adding the exact type of card (i.e., Chase Freedom, BofA partially secured, etc.), your current credit limit, how long you've had the card, how much you typically charge each month, if you usually carry a balance or pay in full, and if you've had any baddies on this card or other types of credit. A lot varies by CC company, your history, and so forth. Good luck!

edit: since posting, I have acquired new amazing mod powers, so I have moved this post to Credit Cards, in hopes of getting some more responses to OP.

Usually a 6 months payment history is a good time to ask for CLI. I would ask once every 6 months and see what they say.

Depending on which CC, sometimes you can get one in 3 months.
