i have three orchard cards 700, 500, and 300 cl's. i was told by the cr today i'm at my limit with orchard/hsbc as far as cards go, but i could look into combining them.
what kind of impact would this have on my scores, if any?

As long as your uti doesnt go up, none whatsoever. Having the higher limit from the combined cards would look better on your reports since EX scoring system dings you for low limit cards. I might go for it and then make sure to keep uti in chck. HSBC is pretty good at CLIs as long as you keep balances low and pay more than min.

Noway would accept a CLD on those limits. Just wait til something better comes along. Keep yor balances low and your cards paid
i thinking if they combine the limits i'll consolidate the cards, if not i'll just keep the accounts as is. the cr said it would be my choice about which route to take, but thier's on adding the limits.
Me? I'd make sure they never got a dime of interest on those accounts. PIF and rotate. Pretty soon they will be begging you to use them more by increasing limits.
