i just paid off 4 of my credit cards:
Walmart
kohls
cap1
chase slate
i am thinking about closing 1 or 2 of those... or should i wait until i get another primce card like freedom or BCP
If those are your only 4 accounts, then I would leave it open.
Didnt you get slate less than 30 days ago?

yea i wasnt planing on closing that one since its chase... im just trying to figure out what i should close.. i feel like i have to many.. i think closing store cards are better then closing major
If you actually shop at Kohl's (as I do), I don't see why you would close it.
i am gardening right now 25 days app free... i just want my profile to look good when i app for freedom or bcp in 6-12 months but more like 12 months

I think you really need to make up your mind on what you want to do. The point of gardening is to not app for anything and let your current cards grow. It would make sense to close them if they were, say, Credit One or FP. Maybe even Capital One. You have cards from GECRB that will grow, as well as your Slte card that you just opened. The benefit to the Slate is that it is prime, and will grow with you. But like I said, you really need to determine what you want to do. One week you want to open a million new accounts, then claim you are gardening...
+1
Leave them all open let them grow!! SD if you don't want to use them!
yea kohls i will most likly keep i get 30% off all the time and i dont pay tax on clothes
