Swpophams reference to the "economy getting worse"
I guesa only I interpreted it as a political statement, but perhaps he should explain to you all if it was political.

You mean like the post/reference you made on another thread about TX and the ACA mandate?   I recall Lexie reminded you of the TOS on that specific post.  Just sayin'

No.
Swpopham mentioned obamacare.
Please refer to that post and be fair.

ok thanks for the clarification, I was wanted to be sure I wasnt in violation of myfico terms of uses? So if I may ask another question about the economy? How bad is it expected to get? like 08?

No politics intended... Im just speculating but I can say that my BIG customers (businesses are making huge changes before this time next year) they are afraid of hyperinflation.

Back on topic, OP I really hope you take some info inconcideration before you app again, take the hard pull and get your credit paid off, get an emergancy fund built up. Then app for the CSP. From what it sounds are you going to get enough benefit out of a "metal card" to justify the annual fee. Or, can you spend enough to make the af worth the card??

Well, at this point it's merely predictions and analytical forecast given the recent situation that's been on the news.  Can it get worse? sure.  Will it get worse, only time will tell.  Can it improve? sure.  You're gonna have all kinds of talking heads, economists and some so-called experts provide their forward view or outlook.  But, the only way you can avoid any pitfalls, regardless if it stays flat or hits the toilet, is if you are prepared from day 1.

Re: so I applied for the CSP

I know you didn't say anything specific, but I feel like everyone was jumping on me saying I had no reason to mention that, when you specifically mentioned "obamacare" in your other thread about the Chase CLDs. No one removed your post or reminded you of the TOS.
So again, let's be fair and on topic. It isn't nice to chastise me for that or FAIR. I'm well aware of the TOS, thank you :-p

Best of luck OP on whatever you decide.  If you get approved for CSP in the next 30 days - great!  If you don't, there's always that opportunity next time around when you're ready.
