I use to spend $250 out of the $750 until someone on here told me don't worry about the 30% just use the card and pay it multiple times in the month. Now I put everything on it and pay it off.

Same here. I did get a $250 CLI and QS PC last year after 7+ years of platinum... now a whopping $1k. Tried online, chat, and eventually EO was able to so generously bump me up.
I'm thinking about applying for a new card next year and moving some CL over... wanted to dump them but will give them one more chance. Still $1k more than DCU was willing to give me.

Wow 7+ years. After getting all the replies and opinions from everyone here I'm going to keep it and hope that it will eventually grow.

Oops. Make that "just short of 7 years" ... like about 2 months short I think. I'm now just over 8 years with them. I'd had other even crappier cards before, and an auto loan that ended with a class action settlement Wonder if they're still pissed about that a decade later.
Get your fico above 700. Takes time. Work on anything bad on reports.
I have been with capital one for 4 years, and they were the only bank to give me a secured card. For the first 3 years, I payed my bill every month, but had no clue about utilization and sending in larger payments. Therefore I never got a PC or CLI increase. Until I played off my bill every month, then they sent me invite for the QS card(500 cl), which I then made multiple payments an used 90 percent of my cl. Then I started to get the cl increases and that open the doors to other credit cards/banks, because no one likes to be the first. Lol! So just put heavy use on the card and pay in full every month, and give that luv button some luv, and you will soon get the PC or CLI you want. On a seperate note, I have constantly received CLI hitting the button every 3 to 6 months.

When I got my card my credit was 550 and now 655-670 and I can't get a PC, CLI not even another card out of them because they claim I have too many cards... Really? I have 2 cards.
Your credit profile always matters. 2 is too many for your profile as far as they are concerned. You can rant against CO (or any other creditor) all you want but it's your profile that needs to improve to qualify.
Review your reports and work on the deficiencies instead of relying solely on time.

It's been a little over a year that I've had my Quicksilver one card and I can't get anything out of them.
A year is no time at all in the credit world. You're not simply entitled because X time has passed. Creditors do not simply hand out CLI's, APR reductions, etc in exchange for time. Your credit profile and your income must meet a given creditor's underwriting criteria.
I am sorry to hear your having these problems with Cap 1. I started with a Platinum card that was upgraded to QS a couple months later. I made payments several a month and always at least triple the min due and in the 4th month of my steps i hit the luv button and they gave me a $500 CLI then at the 7th billing cycle bumped me to $1300. I asked the CSR about another card and she told me since I only had one app in 90 days it was ok and got the platinum card with $500. Havent asked for any CLI's since november steps increase. I figured I would leave them alone. If you havent tried them yet give Synchrony Bank a whirl. They have approved me for 7 cards in 3 months with very respectable CL's They are a good bank for rebuiding Dont give up on Cap 1 I am sure if they see other trade lines from another bank they may change their mind. Good Luck and God Bless.. This is just my opinion every case is different I am merely offering suggestions based on my experiences. Thanks
