Have you tried requesting a CLI from them? I'd imagine, after 7 years and recent higher TLs, they'd be open to raising your CL and lowering your APR.
From the looks of your profile, you probably have some baddies or something that is scaring them. What are your FICOS?
If not, feel free to close them and move on.

Yes i requested one online and called cs and was declined.
CLI's and APR reductions aren't just granted in exchange for time regardless of creditor. Both are based on what your credit and income qualify for. Look at the reasons for denial and work on addressing those. Have those denial reasons always been the same? Have you ever done anything about them?
Throw it in your sock drawer (and maybe pull it out during quarters you want to use it).
I tried several times to get CLIs and always got declined (started with $500 CL, where with other cards I had $2-4k CLs). After WELL over 6 months (closer to a year, really), they bumped it up to $750 or 1200 or something. And just a few months ago (again another 4-6+ months) they finally bumped it up to $2100.
Discover loves some people, and hates others. Sounds like you and I are in the hate category where they just won't budge. I use it occasionally when the categories are good (like this month w/gas).
Don't waste your time getting HPs from them for CLIs. They'll give you SP auto CLIs eventually, just gotta wait. I'm curious if they will give me any more of them, or if now they expect me to try to get a CLI. I'm content now with it being over 2k so I'll give them a rest on that.

Thanks for the encouragement. The 20th will make 1 whole year that I've had my Discover It card, which still sits at the initial CL of $1,600 and 22.9% APR. I have requested CLI's online and over the phone, NOTHING. I just requested a APR reduction this morning and that was a no go as well. It's definitely going in the sock drawer at the end of the month. I got approved for a Chase Freedom last month with 0% APR for 15 mths and a $5,000 CL, which I purposely did so that I could sock drawer my Discover card. It's good to hear that they will eventually give a SP CLI, LOL!!!

I'm so frustrated with Discover, I've had this card for 7 yrs without a limit increase or a better interest rate offer. Current limit is $700 w a 21.99. Just got approved for Chase Freedom giving me $7000 w 18.99. Help!
What's in your profile? There must be something they don't like in there. When I got my card they gave me an auto CLI before I even hit the 90 day mark.
I'm in a similar boat. But my credit profile has actually gone up, as well as my income, but Discover still will not grant me a CLI from the $1900 I was granted in 2012.
Since then, I've been approved for MAJORITY of the cards in my profile today (as seen in my sig) except for the credit received from my CU.
Unfortunately, Discover is still valuable to me, so I'm willing to put up with them not trusting me for whatever reason.

If you don't mind me asking, what is your justification for putting the card in the sock drawer? Chase Freedom's rewards are great, but the rewards are never the same in a given quarter. Therefore I do not see how the Chase Freedom is a complete proper replacement. If anything, they should be balanced.
Again, just interested to know your justification; not trying to attack you or anything I'd also like to put it in the sock drawer, but the rewards are still valuable.
