hi all,
just wanted to share some good news. successfully product converted my slate to a freedom.
nice job, congrats.
Great job. Slate is a good BT card, but Freedom is a good daily. Nice conversion.
Wow, that has never worked for me. I have had to open new cards and then transfer my CL from the old card to th enew card and then close the account. I really want NFCU to PC my Flagship to nRewards for the low regular APR. I rarely ue my Flagship and I'm paying a $65 AF on it. But it's great for my utilization.
Congrats! That's a rarity!
Enjoy the new Freedom! Fantastic card.
Thanks!
so I just wanted to offer more detail. Prior to any product change, I opened a freedom, and then a slate. The freedom is applied for long before the slate and after it hit 5000 credit limit, I asked chase to make it visa signature and they did. 2 years ago, I opened a slate for the 0% BT, but only got 500 credit limit, so was absolutely useless. I kept calling within the past year to convert slate, they said no. They only said my freedom could be changed to sapphire preferred (CSP). But I'm not getting CSP and losing freedom quarterly benefits. I just got very lucky! I called a few days ago, the rep said I can convert my slate to freedom and have 2 freedoms or convert freedom to CSP and slate to freedom. For freedom to CSP, they offered CS and CSP, I took CSP. CSP retained Visa Sig, and the Slate turned to freedom but no Visa Sig as CL only 500. Lastly I asked to move 1000 from my CSP to Slate, so now new CSP CL is 4000 and new Freedom CL is 1500. They said normally 5000 is min for CSP, but they were able to do it for me.
im so excited! Now my final goal is to wait till Freedom CL goes to 5000, and make that visa sig.
