No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
You, like me, will either have to show some incredible will-power or leave the site alone for at least 1 year and let things settle.
Be happy with what you have, as man of us wish we had it.
Then in a year, go for the gusto, and REALLY appreicate what you have then.
i just really hope i can get a CLI on my slate before my vacation....once i get my BCP and (CSP and/or Freedom) good bye capital one
I'm wishing I had AMEX and Chase just in my profile let alone a crappy limit..................

Building and re-building take time.
Seeing "I got approved for a bajillion dollars at %0 forever!" can be frustrating, but let's face it: Limits represent how our credit history and profile are perceived by lenders.
It took me years to rebound from a lot of foolish mistakes. As far as Aps go, until last year I had a limit of 2/year.
Try taking a deep breath and figure out what you're really trying to accomplish with credit. Another option is to just keep apping until enough companies say "No". Some people have to crash and burn before it finally sinks in.

Its a good idea for appaholics who cant stop.
I'm with you afbar - I got approved for a Citi Simplicity (still not sure how!?!) but they gave me a ridiculous $500 limit. You just have to have patience with these cards - everyone else with them has high CL. Just keep using them wisely, PIF and they'll eventually reward you with a high limit.
Afbar,
The high balance on your AMEX card makes no difference. The AMEX is a charge card with the balance due in full each month. Lenders are not impressed with highest balance ever reached on an account. Lenders like good payment history, well managed credit etc.
@Anonymous wrote:Given that you make a new thread about wanting to apply for cards 3-4 times a week, I'd say you never lost your "app itch."
You're already on board with some good lenders. You've laid a good foundation. If what you want is the AMEX Gold and Chase SP, there's really no reason to apply for any cards until you're sure you can get the ones you want.
The primary function of this forum seems to be to encourage people to use credit inquiries, but, despite that, everyone is still telling you not to apply for anything. That said, I'd consider taking a break from this forum. If you're trying to not apply for credit cards, it must be painful to read a dozen threads a day about people getting approved for credit cards. You'll get what you want a lot faster if you take at least a year off from worrying about credit cards. Watched pot never boils, etc.
true!
wow you guys are funny and made me realize what i have so i am trying my hardest not to app for anything. but do HP CLI's count during gardenging?
