Which creditors have you asked for CLIs recently and what were the denial reason(s) ?
There aren't any tricks to this, other than building good history with your creditors with timely payments. Also paying in full versus carrying a balance should be positive as well.
If you are asking about the target red card , the consensus is getting a cli is a bit of a mystery.
I have been lucky getting my 300 sl card to 1000 in less than 2 years . I have been doing the following,
i use the card regularly, at least once a month.
i never pay it in full, always carry some balance.
i only update my income once a year when it actually goes up.
so far, 300- 500- 700 - 1000, ymmv
There is a crowdsourced technique that has been around for several years that in theory was supposed to maximize odds of getting a CLI on your REDcard.
Use the card every month.
Let the balance report every month.
PIF every month. You want balances to report but you never want to carry a balance on the card.
Update your income every month. If your income has not changed you still want to update it, just update it with the same figure.
Rinse and repeat each and every month.
@coldfusion for the balance u report - can it be like 5% or does it need to be a big balance that reports?
From what I remember there was nothing about needing a pattern of high utlization reporting.

I would say that @coldfusion 's DP's are pretty accurate based off of my experience,
when I had a Target card.
I had received a CLI based on that usage ...before a CLD for 7 statements of non-use.
They CLD'ed my limit on the 7th statement cut ...So IMO ..I would put some kind of charge on the card at least every 6 months.
ETA: I had the store card and not the MC.
