too soon to ask for a cli for CSP?

the wife and i have had it for about a month and we''re only a couple hundred away from reaching the spend threshold for the sign-up bonus. i'm wondering if we could ask for a cli. what do you think? we'll pay the balance in full tonight and once it's posts, request a cli. our current limit is 13000 or 14000. ask or wait? my thought wa that maybe if they see we nearly spent a third of our limit in a month, then maybe they'd grant an increase. anyway, let me know you thoughts. thanks!

As long as you are fine with another hardpull on your report then you can requesta CLI at any time.

ahhh, does chase do hard pulls for all cli requests? i thought they might be like discover or cap one or amex--possible to request and get a cli without a hard pull.

They love HP, even if you just took an HP for the card and ask for a CLI the same day you got the card they will want another HP. Makes no sense at at.

Amex Platinum, Amex Hilton HHonors Surpass, Chase Southwest Premier, Chase Marriott Rewards Premier, Discover IT, Sony Visa, Barclay Arrival+ MC, Cabela Visa, Walmart SC, Amazon SC, Kohls, Diners Club Premier, PayPal Credit, PenFed Platinum Reward Visa, PenFed PLOC, Chase Ritz Carlton, Citi TY Premier, Amex BCP, Discover Miles, Care Credit, Blue Nile SC, iComfort SC, Cap1 Venture, Chase Hyatt, Lowes, US Bank Cash+, Citi Costco Visa

With Chase, let the bank give you auto-CLIs rather than asking for them. If you ask, with Chase, it's very likely that they'll give you puny CLIs or even deny you, after the mandatory hard pull.

With heavy spending, they generally offer some auto-CLI in the 5th or 6th statement.

Even otherwise, 1 month might be too new.

You'll be waiting for a very long time... Smiley Happy

I've had the CSP for almost 2 years, have put a tonne of spend through it, have high six figures in liquid assets with Chase, and I have the same the CL I had on day one: $12,500.

It's my second lowest CL.

If I want to increase my CL I'll probably apply for one of the higher end cobrands then combine limits.

Dont even bother asking. Its a HP and usually a waste.
