Hey i am looking for some advice and everyone here has always been helpful so thought i would post my question. I have two credit cards right now, a Discover It that i have had about two years and an Amex Blue Cash Preferred that i have had less then a month. Do you guys prefer to use a debit card or cash for small purchases (like 5 bucks at a fast food restraunt), or do you use your credit cards for everything? i am tempted to use my credit cards for everything as i always pay my balance in full each month and thought even a little cash back is money in the bank, but just feel weird putting a hamburger on a credit card. just wanted some advice on what others do. thanks!

It's 2013. I use the CC's for everything and don't think anything of it. ![]()
I always use my credit card for better fraud protection. Sometimes I do feel guilty about the higher swipe fee that vendors have to pay though... ![]()
Sure. Use it everywhere you can. Change gets lost and is messy. CCs take less time, I'm not against cash but don;t use it as muich anymore.
just use ur CC for everything.
and set up automatic full payment at the end of every week.
That way, you are always in check with how much money you actually have vs. how much you had spent and what you still need to spend on.
I use my CCs for everything I can. No matter if it is a 2 dollar or 200 dollar purchase. It keeps me at ease knowing my debit card numbers are not being exposed; also, no matter how small the amount, it is adding to the rewards.
These days, credit cards.
I never use debit cards anymore.

I normally use cc for everyday purchases however I only use it if the purchase is 5 dollars and up, I feel weird using it to pay off a dollar soda or water bottle. i always carry at least 5 bucks for these types of situations.
I do the exact same thing. CC for everyday purchases but cash for anything super cheap.
