We have 2 Wamu's $1500 and $2k that we've had about 4 yrs but are afraid to use. They seem really unstable right now. It's like a person that's been off their antipsychotic meds (I'm a nurse and I'm all for taking whatever you need to keep you stable so I'm not knocking chemical intervention).

I have a Wamu card that I got in October and they haven't made any changes to my account. I've only used it once and pif.

I asked them outright about the stability of their company and also asked them if I could expect a decrease from them as well. I was told they are still in "transition".
The odds of a Customer Service Rep knowing about the stability of the company is extremely low.

After finding out about my juniper CLD I decided to call wamu to find out what's up with them. I asked them outright about the stability of their company and also asked them if I could expect a decrease from them as well. I was told they are still in "transition".
I was wondering if anyone else out there has a Wamu card and if so have they made any changes with your account?
They are still in transition, from everything the company has sent out, it's going to be some point later, note later, this year, at the earliest, that they will be rebranding WaMu products with the Chase name. That goes for credit cards and branches.
However, the only thing I've heard about WaMu actually changing is that they sent out letters stating they were discontinuing the secured credit cards. Which I think makes sense, because Chase doesn't have any secured cards, they probably want nothing to do with them.
