question, i am on a wamu au account, 11000 cl. my ssn is not on the account. now if i wanted to open my owen card, would they use the au account? the au account is not reporting on my credit report, wamu will not report it. cs said the only way a wamu au gets it on his credit report is if you have the same address as the card holder, weird. so if i open a wamu account, would the au help? thanks

It the TL is not on your CR- I can't see how WAMU will consider it in it's apporval process.

that sucks, wamu au is worthless, they do not do joint accounts, uumm, i guess i will take my name off that account, its not helpung me at all?

It's not helping you if it's not reporting.  Give them your SSN and see if it somehow appears, or if you can force it on by updating that address with the CRAs.

I am in the same  situation as u r in now.

but for me they r reporting to CRAs in my case.may be the reason is our address is same.

as others said in the above replies.

i spoke to them abt this ssn issue too but they didn't agree for that,bcoz the acct no.is same for the primary acct holder and the au so they can't  transfer it to ur name or enter ur ssn with that acct.

wamu CL is included in my CRs with my own CLs.

oh wow i added my brother to my card asn au I think he thinks it would report I guess he will get that news soon that it doesnt when he pulls his report--probably will not matter tho since he has started to obtain his own cards

yes.
i have total of 9k cl with 2 cc's(my cc's cl of 7k + au cc's cl of 2k).
both r there in my CRs.

hi-all, you have the same address on the au account? so how do they know your ssn, or date of birth? uumm, well, even if i dont have the same address, ill stay on as a au account on wamu.
