I guess the best way to find out a question is ask. What are some examples of "prime" and signature cards? Could someone provide a link or just give examples. Thank you in advance and as always enjoy what remains of your day.

Some good examples are: Chase Sapphire, Amex Blue Cash Everyday, Citi Premier/Prestige
YMMV based on what is your exact criteria for what represents prime (i.e., cashback or travel rewards, signup bonuses, BT promos, APR, etc.). Below are my own personal prime card recommendations if you are interested in low, long-term APRs:
Barclay Ring MC (8.25% V APR for purchases, BT, and cash advances; also no BT fee)
Western/Unify FCU Variable-Rate VISA (as low as 5.24% V, no geographical CU membership limitations)
Western/Unify FCU Fixed-Rate VISA (as low as 8.99% F, no BT or cash advance fees, no geographical CU membership limitations)
