what are some ways i can keep my avios points alive?

i used to use one of the shopping portals to earn avios when shopping at walmart, but it seems that portal isn't available anymore. And i don't want to transfer 1K UR points to keep my avios alive. I also don't have the card anymore. what options do i have? Thanks!

If it's a sizable balance, I'd just transfer the 1000 URs and call it a day.  Transfer 1000 from Marriott?  Transfer something like 6.8 million Hilton Honors points and get 1000 Avios?  (Maybe an exaggeration but there are some airlines where you literally need 28x as many Hilton points as Marriott to get the same number of airline miles.)  Take a OneWorld flight and credit that account?  Take an award flight?

Since they allow it and assuming that inter-program transfers would work to reset the inactivity timer, you could transfer them to another Avios program and then back to whichever one your points are stashed in, or earn in a partner's shopping portal and transfer them?

I keep getting directed to Shop through British Airways (ba.com)   You might be able to buy something small there just to reset.  In particular Selfridges (an upmarket department store) has a strange program to ship stuff to the US, $65 buys a year of unlimited free delivery to the US.

(My accountants assure me that this really isn't viable and it must be a front for some other activity, such as drugs being shipped with the parcels and retrieved before delivery)
