I got stuck with a 16k tax bill, put it on my business spg card, but I will probably only pay it down to 7k or so by the end of this month. Should I let it sit on the SPG card or transfer to my freedom card with a 4% fee but no interest, or just try and open a slate card and hope for a no fee transfer?

That is a good way to meet min.spend on some new cards with bonuses if you have any in mind. If not, the slate is a good idea.
I assume you're on mobile, Nixon. His sig says 35K on Freedom.
i would go for the Slate because 280 just for a balance transfer is not nice, and you will have more time to pay it off. Also when thats done you can transfer the balance to the freedom and have more available credit or open a CSP and do the same.

Thanks.
I suggest Slate app to get 0 fee BT, if limit isn't enough to keep Utilization below 50% then slice some off from the Freedom.

Thanks, I already paid the tax bill. I owe the money, however I would rather owe to a bank then to the IRS so I used my SPG card. I forgot how easy it is to move credit around with chase, I will see what the fees are and apply later.
