No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
If you want to play safe get the Freedom you are pre-qualified for and wait another 6 months with the CSP app. I am very old fashioned and do not like to add cards like crazy and prefer to grow my file slowly. Also I would recommend not to app for store cards that you will end up closing but rather app for cards you intend to keep for long term. But I guess that is just me .. I do not like store cards and this is the reason I never accepted one....I remember daily fighting at the registers for not being interested in the store cards!

No, when you have one card with a lender, applying for a second card shouldn't ever raise a red flag. It means the potential for more interest income with them.
Plenty of people here have the Freedom/CSP combo.
Lenders are more likely to put a cap on how much credit in dollars they make available to you rather than a cap on how many products it's spread out over.
Where did you read this? Completly un-true.. know many people that have gotten 5-6 chase cards within a 2 or 3 month window or even shorter. Granted you are likely to get more AA if you do this, but nothing is set in stone. As long as your profile can support it Chase can really care less how many cards you have with them as long as you haven't reached there internal limit $ wise with them.
Yep. I got 4 cards in about 4-5 months. 17K total.
5 in 2 months for 22.5K total here.
I got :
CSP: 5K Nov 2014
Ritz: 10K Jan 2015
Southwester premier: Jan 2015 : 5K
Southwest Plus:Feb 2015: 5K
24K total.
Gotta say Chase is awsome!
Thanks for the replies guys. We ended up applying and she got 3k which we're happy with. Right now Chase feels like Capital One does to other people right now. But better. haha her credits wasn't great and she could never get a card even in between the SW and the recent Freedom when we tried to apply fr a couple cards and only the Old Navy and that was only a $200 limit.
Anyway I guess my only concern now is them not wanting to extending more than the 10.5k they've already extended. We'll see what happenes but my gf, who was never really been interested in CCs and credit in general said that's her "dream" card so it'd be awesome to get there way sooner than we thought. Probably going to run our bills on boths cards and use the freedom for the few times we eat out and apply in a couple months. I wish we could pay our mortgage on it.
