Get that utilization down first and then we can talk about credit cards. Using 540 out of 900 dollars doesn't look attractive to other potential lenders.

BofA pulled Transunion for me. 

I got approved on a CLI from $4000 to $8000. 

I had asked for $10,000 however. 

Do you guys think I should call back and ask for the $10,000 ?

My transunion score was 789.
