if theres no activity but you have an annual fee (and pay it) would they keep it open anyways?
just wondering=]
I have had no AF card from Chase but I can say that any AF card I have had has never been closed for non use, I have gone 1.5 yrs with no use until I ran across these forums and found out its not a good idea to go too long without using every once in awhile. Chances are they will want to collect the fee rather than close the acct.

most likely they will keep it open.
However they might CLD you as well if the credit remains unused.

you can always transfer credit lines around though.
just move most of the CL to another chase card that you are actually using. That way, it will seem like you are putting that credit to good use.

i just secure messaged chase! great idea! dont want to close the SWP but dont plan on using it much next to freedom and arrival=]
you may also want to convert the SWP to the cheaper version or to another 0 AF card.
I assume you want to keep the card for account age / utilization purposes?

i recently opened this card solely for bonus and i do love chase so i dont mind paying AF since it comes with 6k points which cancels itself out=] arrival is new too so if i continue to use it very frequently i figured i can convert the entire limit to freedom =]
than you wouve been a great help
