I have enough money for gas for the next year or so in my PayPal Savings. I can transfer it over, fill up with the 5%, put the points and the remainder back in Savings, but that's the only amount of money I'm willing to have in PayPal anything.

If it's not a real bank don't put enough money in there to be life ending if you lost it.

While I agree that it's kind of strange to put that much money into something that questionable, I don't think most people are as financially literate as the folks on this board and I don't blame them for doing so.

Just think of the nightmare of being in that situation. You just lost basically your entire life savings and everyone's sitting there twiddling their thumbs and you can't get any answers.

I would be waking up in a cold sweat every single night and alternating between completely freaking out and being totally depressed. I don't know what I would do.
