Synchrony wins customer service award -- Seriously?

Here's a surprise -- Synchrony Financial announced it won a top award for its call center performance.

The award, from Benchmark Portal, measures "efficiency and quality."

Does this sound right?

Because this is not what I usually hear from people who deal with the store card issuer, which used to be GE Capital.

GE/Sync credit solutions is pretty easy to deal with and usually say "yes" to requests for their cards - Comenity and Cap-1, now that's a different critter.

Well of course it sounds right because it's TRUE!.

They have really sharpened up the skills remarkably well in that respect Big Time and many of us our grateful for it too.

I have them for my Amazon account. I have had nothing but great experiences with them. Yes to each CLI I ask for, quick to send things or make account updates that i request.
