(Just have to do my best to remember the companies on the list)
A bit easier than remembering the Amex offers!
The $200 monthly cash back cap is pretty good IMO.. at least compared to Discover.
I can't imagine spending $2000 within the 10% bracket in a month, for me it seems like a fair bit of room to reap cash back.
I know of some of the 5% gasoline brands here have credit == cash price, and are competitive, so I could see opting for the M1 card Vs my others for fill-ups outside of the Discover quarter.
It's not been that long since the M1 card was rolled out.. The additions/subtractions this soon are somewhat a concern.
Regarding Amex offers, yeah no kidding! I agree, the $200/mo should realistically be plenty. So they did just add the three gas options while taking away -- at least costco, not sure if they dumped anything else and I haven't bothered to look as I don't immediately notice any other change. Following up on that, I somewhat agree that removing options this soon is troublesome, but adding three gas options is probably better than the previous choices. It could be that they had to make a call between the two? I suppose we wait and see if the trend continues. One change isn't a problem, but many could be.
