Wells Fargo Financial legacy cards to be converted to (regular) Wells Fargo Active Cash as of 8/20

I'm not sure there were more than five of us that might have these accounts still open, but it'll be nice to have a usable interface, actual benefits, and (most likely) the chance to convert to one of WF's other cards as well once the changeover is complete. Really hoping the account details (opening date) stay the same.

As of August 20, 2022, we will no longer be servicing the Wells Fargo Financial Credit Card brand for existing or new customers; because of this change, we will be converting your product to our Wells Fargo Active Cash Visa® product. The Active Cash Card is our best cash rewards credit card ever so we think this good news and change to your account will improve your banking experience as you’ll earn 2% cash rewards on purchases you make with your card.

I have an old (2003) WF Visa Signature card. I wonder if this kind of change is in my future as well.

Confirmed. My opening date and age of account stayed the same even though the number changed.
