$10,000 limit!

A little over a year ago, I applied for the Blue Sky CC by AMEX.  It's the clear card with the blue shiney square for those of you that are wondering.  My credit scores were around 680/690 at the time.  I got approved with a $2900 limit.  After about 4 or 5 months, I did an online request for an increased CL to $3500 and it got approved.  About 2 months later, I requested a limit of $5000 which was also approved.  Again, about 2 months later, I asked for a $7000 limit and it was approved.  Just yesterday, I requested a $10,000 limit and it was approved!  Now I plan on buying alllllllllll sorts of good stuff.  JK.  Smiley Wink

When I first started checking my credit with TC around 2004, (before I knew about MyFico) my scores were around 550.  My current scores are:

Transunion:  746 (Sept 4th)

Equifax:  764 (Sept 2nd)

Experian:  727 (Sept 4th)

I can almost TASTE 800...  mmmmmmm crediiiiiiiiiiit.....  Smiley Very Happy

Re: $10,000 limit!

You betcha they are FICOs.  I don't believe what the TC site says but I look on it here and there to see the difference between the FAKOS and the FICOS.

I will be extremely careful with that CL.  I have no intention of splurging but I'd rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it (emergencies, etc).

I've worked hard on building my credit back to a good level.  I'm glad I'm finally at a level where I can relax a bit.  Regardless, I still monitor my credit regularly, check for fraud, use my cards occasionally for purchases, then pay them off immediately to show usage.

Thanks for the congrats guys and gals!  Smiley Happy
