2 questions about credit reports

HI
I have several questions about credit reports.

1. After reading the thousands of posts here I am a bit confused about when a debt will fall off I know
that its 7 years but when does the 7 year timer start? Also I have been reading about seeing this
date on your credit report I pulled my eq about 10 minutes ago and there doesnt seem to be any
dates of when it will fall off.

2. After my bk I went thru and made sure that all of my cb were correct 0 bal and all accts were iibk.
I pulled my fico scores on 2/23/08 and my tu score is about 54 pts lower than my eq score with
identical information on each one. Is this normal and if not how do I get my tu score up with my
    ex, eq scores?

thanks

Re: 2 questions about credit reports

Ok, Im sure others will pop in on these, but as for the drop off date..in order to see the "expected to drop off" date you read about you need to purchase the full report directly from EX and TU.  EQ does not provide this, but you can use the Date of First Delinquency, as that is the first date.  It is 7 years (some will say 7.5 but my experience and many others is that the CRAs tend to drop off at 7 years to be safe and some even sooner...I have a collection that the DOFD is 7/01 but EX is going to drop in April) from that DOFD (the date the account first went delinquent) that is when things SHOULD fall off your report. If they dont, you can dispute and win.

As for the differences in scores, that is because TU, EX, and EQ all use slightly different versions of the FICO scoring system so differences with the same information is common.  Nothing you can do about that....sorry.
